The Primeo Energie Cosmos is bringing a premiere to the Basel area: the German-language exhibition ‘PlanetSolar’ can be seen for the first time at the Münchenstein Science and Experience Center. From 16 April to 23 October 2025, visitors will have the opportunity to take an exciting journey through the history of photovoltaics and get to know pioneers of solar energy.

Meet the pilot of the SolarStratos Raphaël Domjan and be inspired by Louis Palmer for an adventurous and climate-friendly future. We are also bringing a genuine Münchenstein pioneer out of the archives: during the vernissage, you can exchange ideas with other pioneers in person and take a seat in the Penguin 6 for a funny selfie.

Have you ever watched a film that was powered only by the sun? As soon as it gets dark, we will transform the Piazza at the Primeo Energy Cosmos into an open-air cinema. The film ‘The Value of Things’ is powered only by solar energy that we have been able to store during the day. There will be an opportunity to barbecue before the film.
