Primeo Grün+
Become part of the energy revolution and symbolically obtain electricity from the photovoltaic system of the Surbaum school building in Reinach with Primeo Grün+. This project was developed in collaboration with the energy city of Reinach, which provides the roof and thus enables the production of local solar power.
With the Primeo Grün+ electricity product, you have the opportunity to actively contribute to the energy transition without investment or effort. You support the expansion of solar energy and at the same time enjoy transparency about the origin of the solar power. This is a simple and effective way to have a positive impact on the environment and promote sustainable energy sources.
This is how it works
- By purchasing Primeo Grün+, you are symbolically buying electricity from PVA on the Surbaum school building in Reinach.
- The proximity of the local purchase is symbolically visible.
- You thereby agree to a product change of your electricity supply to Primeo Grün and purchase solar power from this plant. The corresponding guarantees of origin (GO) are periodically checked in the total amount and compared with the total amount of Primeo Grün+ customers (annual balance quantities, not individually reported).
- You will receive an information link with the confirmation of the product change. This allows you to follow the production of the plant.
- Your product choice increases the demand for the expansion of further solar power projects.
- The greater the demand, the more the further expansion can be supported.

Questions – Answers
Primeo Grün+ is the name of a symbolic sponsorship for a PVA, part of whose electricity consumption is produced. When you symbolically choose Primeo Grün+, the following happens:
Your electricity consumption will be switched to the Primeo Grün+ product at the earliest possible date. By symbolically choosing this plant at the Surbaum school in Reinach, we want to strengthen your relationship with this production plant. You will receive a link to a website where you can see how this plant produces. With this symbolism, you do not enter into any further obligations other than the product change to Primeo Grün. The provisions of the Primeo Grün product apply. Ultimately, it strengthens the connection between the customer and the production plant.
Primeo Grün+ is Primeo Grün, where you also take out a symbolic sponsorship for a plant. The price sheet states: ‘For sponsorships of PVA models, at least 15 per cent of solar power is generated regionally.’
All customers can switch to Primeo Grün+.
The service is currently aimed primarily at customers in the municipality of Reinach.

There is no commission – neither for the municipality of Reinach, which is providing one of the two roofs of the Surbaum school complex for the generation of solar power, nor for customers who choose a product option in the basic supply.
The product is intended for customers who do not yet purchase Primeo Grün and live in Reinach. With this campaign, Primeo Energie aims to promote the demand for green electricity in the municipality of Reinach, which is provided via the Surbaum school building. Existing Primeo Grün customers can also make a symbolic choice retrospectively.
With each Primeo Grün+ order, or when changing, the customer's previous year's electricity consumption is usually subtracted from the production volume of the PVA. Primeo Energie stops the symbolic sale or the ordering option by indicating that the order quantity has reached the electricity production of the PVA. This means that no further orders are possible.
Primeo Energie has a broad procurement portfolio in its basic supply. This includes electricity from return plants. The HKN labelling (stromkennzeichnung.ch) ensures that the electricity is not sold twice. With the symbolic choice, the customer has an indication that part of the total electricity consumption comes from the chosen plant.
This is possible. You must cancel the Primeo Grün+ product properly, usually on the first day of the following month. Our product management team will periodically compare production capacities and symbolic production quantities.
You can see from your electricity bill that you have Primeo Grün. The symbolic choice only concerns an info link that you received by email.
