Aare Versorgungs AG (AVAG) is simplifying its electricity offering and will focus on its two main products, «Primeo Standard» and «Primeo Grün», in future. You currently purchase our «Aarestrom» electricity product, which will no longer be offered from 2026. We have taken steps to ensure that you continue to receive a reliable supply of energy: unless you inform us otherwise, we will automatically switch you to the equally environmentally friendly «Primeo Grün» electricity product on 1 January 2026.
«Primeo Grün» stands for comprehensive environmental awareness and the highest quality standards. The electricity comes from 100% renewable sources – primarily Swiss hydropower and regional solar energy – and is certified by naturemade star, the strictest quality label for green electricity. This label from naturemade guarantees not only renewable origin, but also particularly environmentally friendly and natural production. With «Primeo Grün», you continue to make an active contribution to climate and nature conservation for just one penny more per kilowatt hour compared to your current tariff. You specifically support the expansion of sustainable energy in our region and ecological development projects.

If you prefer a more cost-effective electricity product, «Primeo Standard» is available. It consists of renewable energy and is two pence per kilowatt hour cheaper than «Aarestrom». If you decide to opt for ‘Primeo Standard’, please complete the online form below by 30 October 2025 at the latest.
