Green Bond

The proceeds from the Green Bonds go to sustainable projects with a measurably positive effect. The net proceeds of Primeo Energie's Green Bond will go into renewable energy projects, energy efficiency, heating networks, electromobility, and green buildings (Primeo Energie Kosmos). The projects are selected based on their fit with Primeo Energie's corporate and sustainability strategy and by taking into account the research of the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) to ensure long-term reduction for emissions affecting the climate.

The structure of the Green Bond is laid out in the Primeo Energie Green Bond Framework, which is based on the Green Bond Principles of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA).

With the second party opinion of ISS ESG, the Primeo Energie Green Bond framework was objectively and independently assessed on its ecological and sustainable contribution and compliance with the ICMA Green Bond Principles.
