The Board of Directors of Primeo Energie has appointed Benoît Doin as the new CEO of Primeo Energie AG. He will take up his position on 1 January 2026 and will also join the Executive Board of the Primeo Energie Group. In his new role, he will lead the Energy Solutions segment, succeeding Cédric Christmann, who has been serving as interim CEO since January 2025.
Doin’s appointment comes from within the organisation. Since 2019, he has played a key role in the successful development of the Group’s French subsidiary. Today, Primeo Energie is an established and recognised electricity provider in France. Since September 2023, he has served as Chair of the Board of Directors of Primeo Energie France SAS and, together with Eric Deruelle, who assumed operational leadership, has overseen a smooth and effective succession process.
With extensive international experience in the energy sector—at EDF in France and ENEL in Italy—and a strong background in energy economics, Doin brings an ideal skill set for further developing the Energy Solutions business. In Switzerland, he will rely on Stephan Krähenbühl as of 1 January 2026. Krähenbühl has successfully built up the services business and, together with Cédric Ammann, Nadine Lienhard, Walther Kreienbühl and Daniel Studer, forms the operational leadership team of Primeo Energie AG in Switzerland.

Primeo Energie AG has been active on the market since 1 January 2021. As a joint venture between Primeo Energie and the Elektrizitätswerk des Kantons Zürich (EKZ), it consolidates the Group’s expertise in energy sales in the liberalised market. Primeo Energie AG employs 41 people in Switzerland and a further 80 at Primeo Energie France in Paris.
