Energie 360° has acquired e-mobility provider Move Mobility with immediate effect. The move significantly strengthens the company’s mobility group and consolidates its leading position in Switzerland’s charging infrastructure market. Going forward, the group—comprising the brands Energie 360°, Gofast, Swisscharge, and Move Mobility—will operate more than 24,000 public and private charging points across all Swiss regions and serve a customer base of 250,000 users. Starting 1 November 2025, all roaming fees within the group's charging network will be abolished.
With this acquisition, Energie 360° becomes Switzerland’s number one provider of charging infrastructure. The takeover of Move Mobility—from former owners Primeo Energie, Groupe E, and EWB—adds around 4,700 charging points to the group’s network and expands its user base by 50,000. Move Mobility and its employees will be fully integrated into the Energie 360° mobility group, while continuing to operate under their established brand—just as with the other group entities. The acquisition also includes permits from the Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA) to build and operate charging hubs at approximately 40 motorway service areas.
Leadership comments underline strategic significance
Reto Baschera, Head of the Mobility Group at Energie 360°, stated: "With our brands Energie 360°, Gofast, Swisscharge, and Move Mobility, we are proud to lead the way in charging infrastructure and to drive forward the adoption of e-mobility across Switzerland."
Energie 360° CEO Jörg Wild added: "By integrating Move Mobility, we’re not only keeping the value creation within Switzerland, we’re also expanding our expertise and strengthening our presence in all parts of the country."
Daniel Neuhaus, CEO of Move Mobility, emphasized: "With Energie 360°, we gain a strong owner that ideally complements our regional roots in western Switzerland. Together, we offer a seamless e-mobility experience nationwide, leverage synergies, and advance our services with a clear customer focus."
Former owners Groupe E and Primeo Energie also expressed strong support for the transition. Cédric Christmann, CEO of Primeo Energie, commented: "Energie 360° gives Move the platform to grow efficiently in a dynamic market and meet customer needs even more precisely."
Alain Sapin, interim CEO of Groupe E, noted: "The sale allows Groupe E to focus on delivering integrated energy solutions for private and business customers, underlining our long-term commitment to sustainable mobility."
Accelerated nationwide rollout of charging infrastructure
With this strategic step, Energie 360° positions itself as a driving force in Switzerland’s mobility transition. The group now operates the country’s densest network of public and private charging stations, offering investors, businesses, and fleet operators end-to-end solutions—from planning to operations. Energie 360° plans to invest approximately CHF 200 million by 2030 to further expand its charging infrastructure.
