Elektra Niederbuchsiten and Primeo Energie sign operations management contract

Niederbuchsiten/Olten, 9 May 2025 – Elektra Niederbuchsiten (ENI) and Primeo Energie have signed a comprehensive operations management agreement. As part of this agreement, Primeo Energie’s subsidiary AVAG will take over, among other responsibilities, the operation, expansion, and maintenance of ENI’s grid.

Elektra Niederbuchsiten (ENI) and Primeo Energie have signed a comprehensive operations management contract, which governs the full operation and management of ENI’s medium- and low-voltage network starting on 1 January 2026.

This contract marks a significant step in the collaboration between the two companies and ensures the efficient and secure energy supply of the municipality of Niederbuchsiten.

Operational implementation will be handled by Primeo Energie’s subsidiary AVAG (Aare Versorgungs AG). AVAG will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and expansion of the grid as well as for the entire meter-to-cash process.

ENI’s customers will in the future be proactively supported in improving their energy efficiency and will benefit from a wide range of energy services.
