The Olympia Bobrun St. Moritz-Celerina is the world’s oldest existing skating rink. A team of specialists is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the winding ice rink. It is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain the 5000 cubic meters of snow that keeps the “snow sculpture” in shape during the racing season. This is likely to be caused by global climate change.
One of the company’s high priority issues is climate change. Due to aventrons commitment to a decentralized and sustainable power production through wind-, water- and small power plants and the company operating Europe-wide aventron is adding help to protect the climate.
aventron with EBM as one of its major shareholders of 46 per cent, also relies on modern, sustainable technologies and promotes renewable energies. One more reason to participate in an environmentally friendly sport on the international holiday resort of beautiful St. Moritz.
